Why do I fundraise for the Junior League of Birmingham? I fundraise for the Junior League of Birmingham because I believe deeply in the power of women to change a community. The League equips women with leadership training and meaningful volunteer opportunities so we can build a stronger, more compassionate Birmingham together. What keeps it personal for me is knowing that something as simple as one Market Noel ticket can provide 90 meals to families right here in our own community. It’s a powerful reminder that our neighbors need us — and that when women come together with purpose, we can meet those needs in tangible ways.

Why do I fundraise for the Junior League of Birmingham? If you had told me I’d be heavily involved in fundraising before joining the JLB, I would have run away - quickly. However, since joining the junior league and seeing first-hand that our mission in Birmingham cannot come to pass without fundraising efforts, being a part of our fund development team has been an honor and a joy! The JLB cannot exist without the efforts from our fundraisers and those involved in making them happen!
